“My husband and I have been on the adoption journey since 2011. We are an older couple and started to think that we would never become parents. On November 28, that all changed. Our son, Elliot, was born November 26, 2014. A family friend of 20+ years contacted us about her cousin’s desire to find a forever home for her newly born son. We cautiously met with her and met Elliot in the local NICU as he was a month early. We fell in love, and on April 27, 2015, we became a forever family.”
