Through the open adoption of our son Beckett, our family has not only grown by one adorable, smiley, curly-haired boy but we have also gained an extended family with his birth mom Christine and her family.  We travel a path that is new to all of us. A path filled with love, friendship, respect, and joy at watching this little man flourish in our home. Knowing she wanted Beck to have a better life than what she could give him, Christine placed him with our family and I will never forget the big hug and the "Thank you" that she whispered in my ear as we left the Adoption Agency the day we took placement of him as a 2 day old baby. She thanked us. We honor Christine's sacrifice by loving Beck to pieces and including her in our lives. We are so Blessed.
