My husband and I prayed for children from the day we married! After experiencing infertility, we decided to pursue adoption. Since I could remember, I had always desired to adopt - so we believed this was God's will for us. For years we saved and family and friends helped us too. We signed up with an agency, and were matched four times. Each time the parents decided that adoption was not the path they wanted for their child. But, the fourth time, the biological parents realized they needed to choose adoption for their son. He was in the hospital struggling for his life, and his biological parents were not in the place to help him. They made a very brave decision, and we received the call that they changed their minds again - adoption would be best for this baby boy. Our son is now a healthy, happy, wonderfully funny 4-year-old. He lights up our life, and we are praying and hoping that we will be blessed again. We know he will make an a mazing, compassionate, loving big brother!
